Damn Console Fanboys

Of course I like consoles, however my school is full of Halo 2 fanboys, San Andreas fanboys, but any computer games? Nope. There is one kid that plays computer games, but he...touches himself in ways. Anyone else's schools filled with console fanboys? I swear, these kids need to see the light and go towards the PC!

My school has a computer class that is full of computer nerds mostly. Most aren't too heavy into games though, if they are they are the ignorant CS fan boys(god I hate CS fanboys). I know TONS of console fanboys, can't talk to them because they are too dumb though.

Console Fanboys: GTA:SA and Halo

However, it's evenly balanced and nobody really speaks stupid stuff about either side..

not really any videogame people @ my school, excepet the ones i talk to who mostly play pc, though there is a couple of console people.

good thing is, none of them are ignorant or anyting like the people you describe, yay for me.

Considering the PC industry is what pushes the technology and innovation while consoles rely heavily on that technology and innovation, that's a pretty dumb statement. The PC industry is constantly evolving and making new strides. The console industry is always reacting to the PC industry in sporadic steps. Example: In 1999, three new consoles are developed; not until four or so years later, the console industry develops the next wave that currently matches the medium of the PC industry and remains stagnant until the next wave. Consoles are restricted by their limitations, where as the PC industry is constantly adapting and evolving.

The PC audience is huge. So the argument that nobody plays PC games anymore or the PC industry is finished is useless.

it doesn't seem that way in some hardware specifications though, like the cpu/ram/hard drive of the xbox [and other consoles] though they do follow technological advances such as dvd etc.

DVD hah wheres my Blue Ray :frown: Pcs are going to have that to themselves for a few years yet.

Perhaps for great games like Mario 64, Metal Gear Solid 1-3, Every Zelda game ever made, GTA 1-5, Goldeneye, Halo, Donkey Kong, Chronicles of Riddick, Vectorman,the Metroid Prime's,.....and it goes on and on and on.

Don't bother replying to hitman5. He's a HUGE halo 2 fanboy. What a shame when he realizes theres nothing left to do after you beat the game and then play mp for an hour. While hl2 will have plenty of fun mods and customizations to play with. But really, sell ur pc (it must suck), and stick with your xbox and wait around another few years for the next good game to come out for it. :thumbs:

They have opinions and although they are not the same as yours that doesn't mean they're stupid. Some people just like consoles more and other like PC more. It's a matter of personal preference and you should atleast respect their opinion even though you think it's wrong.

the PC fanboys say that the consoles fanboys are stupid and I hear many PC fanboys saying "consoles are for gays, the people that play consoles are stupid idiots whiout brain,the people that play consoles are stupid by nature"
