Early this morning, I caved and bought a preorder of the OB at NewEgg.

DAMN YOU VALVE!

At the least, I will be able to make a new STEAM account now, since I'll have HL2 and EP1 again.

Ep2 had better be F*CKING EPIC.

Why not just use the same account and "gift out" the hl2/ep1 games, so you can play some hl2 mods with some friends that don't have it!

Eh I don't hate valve.

As for making a new steam account, my old games are registered to an account that uses a name I stopped using. Unfortuneatly the only other PC gamer I know who didn't have HL2/Ep1 got the OB on Steam the same night.

SO, since I can't switch games from account to account, I'll just use it on myself, and maybe "gift" my old user name to someone.

What is the point of making a new account? You can change your name in friends to what ever you want and that is what people will see.

Well, also a mate of mine and I do alot of Lan stuff, so I had thought maybe I'll pass off the old account to the "group" -- I've let them use it a couple times before.
