Okay I just started playing it again after leaving it alone for a few months and I might as well review this game becuase I am bored
Star Wars: Battle Front
SW:BF is basically a clone of BF:1942 and BF:V (maybe used it's engine). I am a tiny bit dissapointed at a few things at the game including it's physics and AI.
I will start off with the physics, after you kill someone they will drop thier gun and when you take a quick jog over the body the gun (that is like a meter away from the corpse) magically moves with them. The game does not use ragdoll physics but that does not really matter.
Second is the AI. The computer controlled players are quite... well retarded. They basically have a chat to the enemy while you are trying to survive.
Finally, I have a list of a few things that kinda bug me in the game:
1) You can not kill the jedi heroes with guns! If a grenade goes off near them they will fly through the air and when they are flat out on the ground you shoot at them and the laser beam things magically bounce off them. But a speedbike kills them easily :dozey:
2) When you enter a vehicle and you wanted to be the main gunner and a Computer Controlled Player to be the pilot and already is the pilot in the tank/plane etc etc. You enter the vehicle and the Computer Controlled Player will jump out and run away. But if you actually success in getting a CCP as a pilot and you as a gunner. They don't drive they just sit there.
Rating:
Graphics: 8/10
Physics: 4/10
Gore: 1/10
Gameplay: 7/10
Overrall rating: 20/40
I do not reccomend getting excited about the game if you have not bought it yet. But still, it is better then other games I have
