Dark side... Or light side?

I recently watched the end of the final Star Wars movie (Poor Vader ) Anyway, this got me thinking. If you were in Luke Skywalker's position with the Emporer himself. Would you accept your 'destiny' and join the dark side? Or would you stick with the light side?


Personally, I would go for the dark side.

Definitely dark side. I have played Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic on the light and dark side, and the dark side is so much more powerful. I mean, just look at my avatar. :E :flame:

That goes without saying. That is the way of the Sith.

Something I don't understand though is how George Lucas & the SW archives at sw.com say that some dude (don't remember the name)was the first person to rebel against the Jedis & became a Sith (Siths are actually a normal race that got conquered but evil people. They looked pretty evil though...) but KOTOR for example takes place about 4000 years before even that happened & in those games, Siths have been around for thousands of years. It doesn't add up. Is it simply because it is only the movies that are canon?
