Ok, im sat here finishing up my essay, and my eyes are straining at my laptop screen. Its dark in my room, so naturally my eyes are getting a bit ***ked from the bright screen infront of me. So I turn on my desk light.

I then think to myself that now that its getting dark, ill have to cook some food soon and that I cant be arsed to do it. Thinking of what ill have to eat, I calculate some cooking times as I glance at the clock...

ITS ***KING 17:15...WTF!!! Its almost pitch black outside, I see lights in the distance and over the park from my window, street lights on to the left...and its ONLY late afternoon.

17:15....dark....how bloody depressing!

And omg, ive just realised I have a lecture from 16:15 to 18:15 on mondays...its gonna get to the stage where its dark when im walking into my lecture and dark when I come out...

Rant over, discuss at your will.

Winter is coming quick it seems, or maybe its coming at the same time as always, I dunno, all I know is its depressing how its dark in the afternoon during winter rather than turning dark in the evening. Stupid daylight savings.

I hate it too, the clocks went back last night and now it's SUPERDARK. Super sad face.

Wait what? The clocks went back last night?

[Edit] oh just great, I never know with these back and forward. Do I move my clocks forward an hour or back an hour now?

That makes it lighter in the evenings.

What was 6pm became 5pm.

Ok my clocks currently read 17:52...so now its actually 16:52?

...I hate this.

its completely shite. i was there for a few months earlier this year and it was going dark at
like 22:30. i grew up in africa so i had no idea what the hell was going on.
****ing 22:00 IM TRYING TO ****ING SLEEP HERE!!!

No, if you're looking at your comp. clock then it adjusted itself. It is 17.53

There ya go, have some crayons.

Hate the darkness of winter, it makes it difficult to do school work because I get all drowsy from it.

Yeah I'm finding it harder to work too. I'm knackered anyway though from Saturday. Got an assignment for tomorrow. Grrzles.

There ya go, have some crayons.

I love winter's darkness, and its cold...

Too bad its ****ing 93 degrees in October in Cali...wtf!!! Hopefully, that will be the last heat wave, but the last time i said that, it got hotter.

I'm originally from Texas, and its usually quite nice all the way up until January.

I just moved to Pennsylvania for school, and holy shit, its like, after September 20th or so, the sun just dissapeared and things got cold and dark all the time.

I mean, its like October, it should at least be 70!

Logic unit failed.

I love Scotland because in summer theres always a soft blue light in the sky, its never truely pitch dark.

What I hate is that in winter you barely get any sun.

Jimmeh and Phobeh's right... what was 6pm becomes 5pm, & you get the darkness of 6pm at 5pm.

It's nutty how much it swings back and forth. In summer you can be looking at a bright evening close to 10pm...

You're lucky, it's dark at 15.30 here. Plus, it's been cloudy for two weeks straight now, so it's dark even if the sun is up.

This is known as SAD.

Seasonal Affective Disorder. Basically because Winter is cold, dark and depressing. Unless you're off and it's snowing.

But it never snows anymore. Just rain. And horrible cold wind.

;(

It isnt much better here (Holland)... gets dark at five, cold, rain, depressing stuff. **** i hate winter.

-dodo

ive never even seen snow. here its either boiling hot (45*c) or raining really hard (and still boiling hot)

I just learned till 7pm.
at like 5:30 at the break I looked out side the school and it was really dark I could see every tiny light and see some1 tv in the next door house.

He did want me to give out his name here. Quite understandable...

Is there a guy called November in your class?
