I thought the only expansion for Postal 2 was Apocalypse Weekend, which involved killing a lot of zombie Gary Colemen but no children or pregnant women. :eek:

I googled a little and it seems you're right, there are no pregnant women in postal 2. It's been years since I played and I guess my mind just made that up, sorry for the misleading statement. However, you still get my point.
 
Everyone on the official forums need to pull the stick outta their ass.

Suddenly the TF2 community has gone all posh. Acting like they're so disgusted.

After complaining about piss in a jar in TF2, they go off to jack off to some Japanese cartoon pee porn. Bunch of losers.

On another note, like someone said earlier, I don't like how this makes the flare gun even more useless. :(

This would be so badass if valve wanted to update the 360 version once in a while.
 
I think its funny. Everyone who's been complaining about it being either too vulgar shouldn't be playing a Mature rated game, and everyone whos bitching that its a lame joke and not gross enough to be funny needs to take into account that the game this weapon was designed for is Team Fortress 2 not Postal or Manhunt.

Also, those who are deeply upset by jars of piss being tossed at people need to give their head a shake. We play a game where you can beat someone to death with a shovel, light people on fire, blow them up with remote bombs, and shoot them in the head with a sniper rifle. Despite the fact that this is essentially a cartoon there are many many worse things you can do then toss a jar of piss at someone. This reminds me of the bullshit with Watchmen. People complained about a CGI blue dong when in the same movie bones were being visibly snapped, hands cut off, and people exploded by the blue dong wielding demi-god.

The standards in this society are ****ed up.

I don't dislike this update because I find it distasteful, not funny or immature; it's just wasted potential.

Instead of something neat, innovative, cool, new, inventive, interesting or somewhat useful, we have a jar of piss.

It's weakness should be: it can only be reloaded in 5 minute intervals... with accompanying reload sound.

I believe they are just waiting to finish all the class updates then throw EVERYTHING onto 360 version, think of paying for all those achievements/stuff at once instead of MS trying to make you pay every update.(NOTE: free updates from developers=no achievements)

I suppose then that the next update will be the release day. The sniper now has 3 unlocks and the spy has 3 unlocks already (two watches and the revolver, I don't see any point in replacing the knife...).

The only thing that dissapoints me about the Jarate is that it replaces the kukri, right? Then you can't just throw the jar at them and then cut them to pieces :( :(

35% damage isn't useful? extinguishing teammates isn't neat? Shorting out the spy's cloak isn't new? Packing it in the form of a jar of piss isn't inventive? seriously, besides postal and duke nukem, what game has piss in it? what game period has it in a jar, as a usable item?
 
The effects are awesome. I am hesitant about the piss. But better piss than snake venom

Agreed. I like what its effects, but urine? That is the sort of juvenile toilet humour I got over then I was twelve.

They should have made it Aussie beer, which is almost the same thing- without the connotations.

I don't know what to think of this. I don't find it controversial nor humorous in any sense.
It's rather lame than anything else. Are they trying to appeal to 10 year old's? Honestly, i don't get it.

Bah. Looks funny, but another update that will be zero use in matches - which, when added to the other two, means none of the sniper updates will be of use in matches :/
 
I think the jarate adds perfectly to the aboriginal theme the sniper is receiving :)

How can anybody be offended? come on, its freaking piss! The source to all humor in the world mates :D
 
Killing people is all well and good, but I'm just not sure I'm happy throwing jars of urine.
 
I Am not offended at all. In fact, this would work better as a drinkable, health regenerating or buff giving power imo.
This just seems like another useless unlock for me. If i want to play a support class, i will spawn as a Medic. When it comes to hunting Spies, stick with a Pyro. None of its mechanics seem very useful to me. Enemies take 35% more when thrown at them. That's nice and all but useless to a squishy and long ranged class such as this. Getting into close combat with this class will get you killed very quickly.
 
The jar isn't meant to be an offensive weapon, fyi.

I believe this + the Huntsman was supposed to change the Sniper to a slightly more mid-range support class...
 
I'm loving this Sniper vs. Spy stuff they've got going on, trying to beat each other. You can bet the Spy will have his revenge with some kind of knife tonight!

But yeah, this update looks damn brilliant. I think it'll help solve the problem of One class achievement whoring, seeing as Snipers kill Spies and Spies kill snipers easily. Also, wow Sawmill looks good - when I was making my own little arena map a while back, I had the idea to put giant spinning saw blades. Just a shame I don't have the talent to do it quite yet :(

EDIT: And wow, the sniper will only have 1 weapon if a player chooses to have all 3 unlockables, unless you can hit people with the shield, which I doubt.

Firstly, I think any Aboriginal would be highly offended at you thinking they throw jars full of piss at each other.

Secondly, toilet humor is one of the lowest forms of humor and in my opinion, suits the lowest forms of human life.
