He was talking about the multiplayer aspect ;)

why make a another day of defeat when there is battlefield 1942 ?
this game cant compete with it, even if it has a better engine.

Those are some really good graphics i cant wait for the beta but for some reason i like how we get to do the beta testing.

Yep, and I did play CoD..wich is a good MP game, but by far not as good as DoD.. the athmosphere is amazing in dod..and the voice commands are the best I've heard in any game.

Better then the fake 'nice shot, thanks' voice commands in cod..wich I saw is now in DoD:S also :O That kinda sucks.. but the rest is looking good imo..

And wait until Dod:S gets new maps like CS:S did ( compound. tides, etc) ..it will look great.

So, you've never actually played Call of Duty then? Never even heard it's slogan, "No one fights alone"?

screenshot look pants, but as time goes on there will be better maps released. These look like the original game just with hi-res textures, there doesn't seem to be any more detail in the maps than there was in the original.

Let's be honest, I played (and loved the game multi and single) the whole game and basically your "allies" are nothing but bullet shields and aestetic additions to the landscape and are in no way really useful. You kill sooo many nazis on your own, in addition to that, it was a joke.

I think that these screens look detailed enough ... I'm gonna reserve full judgement until i actually get to play it cos in the end gameplay is what counts most ...
Otherwise i am keeping my eyes on S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and some game called '[something]: road to hell' looks like it may be good too :)

No I've just had a look on google - its called 'Boiling Point: Road to Hell'
Looked through about 50 screens a few days ago online somewhere ... to begin with I thought the screens were pretty good (some were definately better than others) but then I got to some landscape pics and they were pretty awesome - worth keeping an eye on (some nice vehicles to drive too - a jcb - sportscar - some beat up cars too - a nice mix) :)
The foliage in the screens looks pretty sweet too ...
