I've been working on this map like mad for the last few days. Its my first map, and I would appreciate some input. I took a few screens...check the links below and let me know what you think. Be honest.

Looks good... If you want fix the water i think you can put a env_cubemap with defoult settings somewhere in the map... Dunno if it works but i think so.. Good luck with your map..
 
The outside lighting is quite harsh (too dark in the dark areas). Also, you may want to give the environmental lighting some tilt, to stretch out those shadows, giving them some life.

Looks like you haven't done any lighting indoors, so I can't comment on that.

So, what kind of map is it going to be :)?
 
its gonna be a de (bomb) map. CT's must protect their clean source of water. Speaking of water...I have a bunch of cubemaps. I keep reading that they dont work yet tho. Is this tru?
Other than adjusting the 'sun' how can i improve the exterior lighting?

Not bad. The lighting needs work, Water can be fixed other then that its nice.
 
looks pretty nice. the lighting does need work, and the map would defidently look alot more realistic with a 3d skybox. also there is something weird about the terrain.. can't really put my finger on it..
