So what does everyone think of the new Verses campaigns? I've played through each one once - won a game on Dead Air, lost the game on Death toll by about 70 points but it was a really fun game anyway. Personally i think they're great, but I can't help but think that some portions of the levels don't work very well for the Infected. Obviously a lot of the balance relies on the team and how well they work together, be them human or Infected, but the Death Toll game was pretty dull for us as Infected because there didn't seem to be alot we could do due to the open nature and space of the environments. That said, I've only been through it once so I do need a little more experience. I don't know about PC users, but I think there is a Witch glitch on the 360 version. I've seen one witch four times now and that's at the start of Death Toll, sitting in the doorway at the end of the tunnel. Not seen anymore.

That isn't really the focus of this thread as it is somewhat flawed by how little I've played of them both, so I'll about-turn this thread into more of a topic regarding thoughts on the maps. I've noticed quite a fair few changes have been made to some of the environments, too - the chain link fence surrounding the crane in DA is moved and a small building is now in place, a overturned bus and alarmed car is near the forklift truck crescendo which I don't remember being there and the closets have been completley removed from the boat house finale and replaced with a breakable wall. Health kits and ammo have been moved aswell. There's a lot more changes but I can't recall them at the moment.

Best thing to happen so far for me was this great ambush me and three others set up on the Construction Site. We left the humans to hold off the crescendo horde whilst we set up on the roofs just overlooking the alley with the burning barricade and as soon as they left we all pounced, tongued and vomited at the same time and managed to get all four of them within about 3 seconds. It was perfect. We kicked their ass every round and we had no Tanks whatsoever, but every one of their rounds they would get a Tank, so that was the only way they could stop us in the end. That kind of sucked, but we still won so whatever.

My first time on Dead Air Versus, last round, we're infected. Judging from the round before us, our tank wasn't going to do much good, so we held him back and made him just start chucking rocks. There are only two living players on the enemy team (as in the others are dead, not AI) and our tank reels up to throw a rock, judging from his position it looks like it'll get the final incap. I spawn as a hunter a bit in back of him, and wanting to help kill the incapped guy, i pounce. Rock hits me JUST as i past by, killing me.

We ended up killing them and winning anyway, it was like 7200 to 1300, but we still all had a good laugh at that.

I sadly have to wait until i build my new computer before i try versus mode.
My current comp can barely handle Co-op :(

It was Dead Air, in an alley somewhere, and a tank showed up. I became the tank, and punched a dumpster at the survivors. Suddenly, it said i hit Bill, Francis, Zoey And Louis X90! I then incapped the entire team and killed two with that same dumpster. Best round ever.

Rolling large objects over survivors when they are incapped sends your multiplier haywire. I was playing with AciD a few weeks back and he had 20,000 points after getting a tank and throwing about a car!

Yeah, I never really got smacked about by a car or dumpster on No Mercy or Blood Harvest, but in Verses and Survivor on Dead Air it's happened alot. On the DA finale, the Infected were pretty rubbish throughout the entire round but then their Tank player spawned and he bowled us all over in about 15 seconds using the same baggage cart. Sucked.

If it gets out of hand, I think a solution would be to make the large items break after a couple of tank punches.
