Deathmatch Classic

I dont post here much but ive recently been playing deathmatch classic (hl1 quake mod)

Was wondering if anyone here plays it, for me it makes a change from cs and is quite fun once you pick up the basics.

Anyone up for a game?

I never was much of a big fan of death match in any form with some exception to perhaps, team deathmatch.

Free for all is amazingly unappealing for me. I love working in team modes of some sort.

I find it fun most of the time becuase you simply dont have to think at all.

Half-Life Deathmatch was fun while I played it. I was way too young to understand tactics, but I still pwnt players with underwater tripmines.

I'm the same way. I just get bored of the solo fighting. Team based is where it's at imo.

HLDM was the first game I had ever played online.(I still remember playing my first online game on the map 'killbox' and being amazed that I was actually playing with other people) I really enjoyed it at first, but then really hated it. It turned into a gauss+crossbow fest, and was zero fun whatsoever. It's simply not cool to get sniped by a guy jumping around at near-lightspeed. repeatedly. every five seconds. :|
