The time is nearing closer for the release of Decadence mod, 28th March to be precise before we can enjoy this highly anticipated mod. The Decadence team have put together an introductory video introducing the main objectives involved and how rounds are won and an overview to the classes available.[br]As usual, its a well produced video by the team even if our resident Majestic XII narrates it in a very girly voice. You can download the video here or watch it below. Decadence website.[br]

Looks to be a good 4 person game, heavily focused on the teamwork of the group.

It looks really good but..isnt all this talk about water nodes just a fancy way of saying CP capture?

Alert! The Enemy is capturing our realistic control point!

:|

Sounds like it. So to summarize:

"2v2 CP. 2 classes: tranq & burst fire"

Looks cool... so the person talking in the video is a guy?

I can tell the voice over lady is canadian... way she says scout lol :D

seems cool, the whole water-node thing didnt make a lot of sense to me. I think they should make them gigantic tanks of radiation that cause and asplotion of nuclear proportions when captured... then we're talkin

Yeah, pretty much a wet dream for any one who loves tactical cooperative play.

*changes pants*

"I TOOK THIS NODE, I'LL GET THE NEXT ONE AS WELL"

AHAHAHA, I lol'd so hard at that. Who the heck says that during combat?!?!

Anyways, looks interesting.

Certain Source mods will be remembered for doing it right, regardless of audience or popularity, and I sincerely believe this will be one of those. Hopefully Valve will take note and offer them Steamworks integration before too long.

Graphics look decent but the combat looks dull.

Isn't it more of the same? The whole background story sounded alright (water will be the new oil in 20 years) but the execution leaves a lot to be desired... there are hundreds of mods out there that do the same. :x

Don't get me wrong, i like territorial control as a game mode but the combat does not look meaty, satisfying and varied enough for my liking.

Interesting premise, looks boring to play though.
