I'm interested in doing a mod on the perspectives of the Decay main characters Collete Green and Gina Cross that continues their adventures. Even though I haven't played the original (don't own a PS2), I know the basic story and the ending. I can write the story (I already have some of it done actually), maybe even some light mapping. Let me know if anyone is interested, email me at [email protected].

no you need some concept art for people to understand what you want and play decay you may understand what you want in your game

u dont need concept art at all. thats only if ur into that fancy shit where ur trying to make ur mod look all good. i just havnt said anything because i dont know what Decay is. i'll look it up later. :D
EDIT: more important than concept art, is the site. even a blank site with just a layout of what ur mods gonna be about can help u gather a team. :)

You need to do a major portion of the mod to get it off the ground. Expect to do ALL of at least one facet of the mod. Anybody can think up a story, and everybody maps a little. The most productive team member of anybody's mod is usually themself, the creator. If this is a case of "well I could do it all by myself but it would take me four months so a few helpers would cut it down to three months" then you're good to go. If it's a case of "I think I can probably do this little thing here, and I'll get help on all the stuff I don't know how to do" then you're going to have much trouble.

Very true. But more important than a website is a coder who can make all of your ideas into reality.

Code > Web Site > Concept Art (unless it's really good concept art, like the kind Mechagodzilla draws, then it gets bumped a few links up the chain).
