So I've got a folder. I can move it around amidst the other folders, open it, right click it, everything. But when I try and delete it I get a message, "Could not find this item". If I go into console, I can see the folder as well, but I can't delete it. I can't hide it.

How the hell can I get rid of this folder?!

rename it and see what happens
if worse comes to worse there are file shredders you can dwnld you might be able to delete it with

You deleted it already, but for some bug or glitch, it still shows it there. If you restart your computer, it should either be gone, or allow you to delete it. Happens to me sometimes. It can't find it because it's already been deleted.

if not, try safe mode

after you try those, let us know if you still have the problem

i think he/she is right

I can't rename it, I've restarted my computer dozens of times (the folder has been here for weeks, but now it's getting annoying), I'll try safe mode later tonight, I'm just a little busy right now...hopefully that'll fix it.

I had this problem recently with a folder on a FLASH drive. The only thing that got rid of it was chkdsk (Windows 2000). I think in XP you use it right clicking the drive the folder is on and run Properties > Tools > Error-Checking. It'll probably take a while but it might remove it.
