Dell make bad computers (i know - i own one ), Alienware make overly expensive but good computers
I cant see good things happening with this

Yeah Dell stinks, and Alienware rip people off like cab-drivers.
Sorry I build my own stuff, so they don't bother me at all. Let me know when Dell buys Asus or DFI though.

ya now gouging customers on overpriced "pro gaming" pcs goes from a niche market that relies mostly on word of mouth to corporate mainstream that has wads to throw at advertising

The competition? Ugh. Please, everyone have a large grain of sand handy with this one. I am not saying it didn't already happen, but the info is speculation right now at best, esp. given the source.

Yeah it says unconfirmed in the the first article as well. Seems any rumor about Dell with AMD in the picture is news but yet to be true. lol
