any new info on the demo?
are the big enemies funner to kill than the farcry trijons?
 
Define "funner" :)

The Hellknights come so late game that you view them as more annoying Imps, and aren't really that fun to battle

Mancubus were actually kinda fun to kill.. but were too much like stronger revenants
 
i think halo 2 will have "funner" enemies bsed on what i have read, how they jump around and hang from ledges and climb pillars, it will be cool.
 
Doom 3 doesn't have any original gameplay concepts. All the enemies do is either: a) leap/run at you or b)shoot/throw stuff at you. Many of the better enemies are hardly used at all. So play focusing on the atmosphere, graphics and sound effects, because the gameplay is fighting typical monsters with typical tactics.
 
I think the demo should be a really tiny room with a zombie and super turbo turkey puncher 3
 
Ya, there was way too many Imps( like at least 1 per room) and not enough pinkys:(
 
Yeah, the usage if imps was insane. I think if they spent more time making the monsters act interesting and improved the AI routines then the game would be a lot better. People say the game doesn't need good AI, but that only applies to the zombies. I wanna see monsters climb up walls, perform evasive maneuvers, interract with the environment etc..

Were the hell knights the ones that looked like skeletons and fired rockets? If so they were kinda cool, although they were basically beefed up imps you could shoot the rockets down which added a little to it.
 
The first time I saw a pinky, I thought I was gonna die the second it broke through the window that seperated it from me.










I killed it in 2 shotgun shots.
 
:dozey: SPeaking of enemies... you know when you kill them they turn into vapor, I was wondering is there a way to make that not happen?
