IMO I can expect a different turnout in 08' election than every one expected, the people thought the dems would save them from Iraq. This shows how terrible the dems' are. They say one thing before the elections, and do the complete opposite after they get into office. :rolling:

And he's doing it mainly as a protest to the war, by catching war supporters in hypocracy:

Lets just hope that its a rumor, & that this one idiot in that article is just a politician that just drank too many. As much as I hate them I do not wish for this to happen & I don't think they would do something so stupid.

They will probably ignore that idiot, It could all turn out to be false; But for now lets just stay tunned for the coming weeks. I am thinking about turning libertarian.

It's very obviously not a party objective, nor will it be.

The man is not drunk or insane. He's proposing that people who supported the war in Iraq should be willing to take steps to end it.

What he is saying is unpopular, but that's the point - to indinct those who he believes do not take the prospect of war seriously enough to make unpopular descisions.

Well, my cousin is in Iraq right now, and he's a conscript. He does nothing there, however, except make pancakes.

Well, there is a very small chance that we'll conscript people to send to Iraq ("It's not our fight!") but if it happens then, yes.

ummm not go? there is no way in hell I'd ever go to iraq should my country force the issue ..prison sentence is perferable to comprisiming my principles and putting my life in jeoperdy to line the pockets of a greedy few ...you're life must be be of less value to you
 
Well, I'd rather not have "EX-CONVICT" stamped on my identification papers. Which would make it harder to live in society.


And if my going to iraq lowers the price of gas, then our economy will get a tremendous boost.

Although, Iraq has not that much to do with what I think important...

As Stephen Colbert said, "The Republicans best hope of winning in 2008 is losing in 2006." Democrats need to be given a chance of messing everything up for a change. Really, its gonna suck no matter who's in charge.

I guarantee you if we had already had a draft, we would not be at war right now. All those congressmen with children would of thought twice.
