Stalin- Read 1984, the world would probably suck like that, only with more dead people
Mussolini- Yeah right! Everyone thought he was an asshole, and who was ever afraid of Italy conquering the modern world? They would of overthrown him for someone more like Hitler or Stalin for a similar result above.

was he even christian? iirc he persecuted them too (or catholics perhaps). I think they may have encouraged athiesm, but I don't know for certain anyway.

Well assuming stalin took over and after his death destalinization never happened... well, one can only guess, depends on the ruler. 'course this would pretty much fulfill the communist worldwide revolution. Last step is to 'condition' the opponents.

Hitler wasn't Christian at all. The world 'idol' would be Hitler himself. Good question though. He wasn't Chrsitian, but he didn't persecute them... hmm...

1. The US ruled the entire world
2. We had a dictator
3. a. (Germany) One of the US's main goals was to exterminate Jews
b. (Russia) Free thinkers/ protestors were killed in the millions.

What united states do you live in? Last time I checked, people can freely say they hate Bush, the U.S. SUPPORTS a Jewish state, over 3/4 of the world still has control over themselves, and military hasn't carried out any mass killings of civilians.

You don't know for certain, if any of the above had happened differently then the people in that timeline would probably be asking the same questions, like 'what if hitler hadn't won WW2?' and they'd be thinking how much worse the world would have been for it (since the world would no doubt be german-ruled and everyone would be happy, having got rid of the evil jews, etc).

The alternatives aren't guaranteed to be the worst possible futures, or atleast - not from the perception of the people in the future of them timelines.

Anyway. Lifes too short for what-ifs. If you ask me, there's only one here & one now, and all that multiple dimension babble is just babble.

I would be either an agent or leader of a rebel group trying to overthrow whoever the current ruling dictator would be.

Seriously though even if any of these dictators had taken over they would not have been able to keep their power for long. The reason most of these dictators did so well in their own countries was because alot of people there supported them. In other countries there would be far too many rebel movements to keep everything under controll.

Far too difficult a task at the time (Unless Germany devloped nuclear weapons first), the Jews were easily killed off because they had no central leadership, no military of their own or safe haven to escape too. Even if you had the goal of completely wiping out all opposition from these countries through mass genocide I still don't think you could be succesful as they would not sit around waiting to die. Germany and Russia had many troops but they still had no where near enough to ever hope to conquer North America, even if the entire US military was wiped out and Germany or Russia had their forces at full strength they still couldn't hope actually take over North America as it is just too big.

However if nuclear weapons were used it would be a very different story. Europeans would be speaking German or Russian, and the US would be a smoldering radioactive desert.
