i try not to desire. it's hard but sometimes it's so rewarding. but then you could say, i desire to not desire. or something.

it's weird because the buddhist view of things is that desire causes suffering, so if you stop all desire you stop suffering. and it does work, but sometimes it just isn't practical in western society.

if there's one thing i desire above everything else, it's for everyone to be able to 'wake up' and forget their differences. squeegy the third eye as it were.

As to the her subject, my her-wife-type-thing went back home to Florida for a month to be with the family as her grandfather is dying I desire that the coming month goes quickly and when gpa passes he passes peacefully.

I desire the chance be a published writer - I've got a bunch of ideas floating around in my head and notebooks: 1 travel book, 1 play, 1 film - it could also work as a game , 3 novels - although I've pretty much discraded one that could have also worked as a film, a bunch of poems/lyrics - some are awful, but there's the odd good one amongst my drivel. Some of them are slowly coming to fruition and I know I would say this but they're really not bad - I just want the chance to have this confirmed by others. I've always been told I'm a good writer by others and these ideas should be the culmination of this. For the moment at least.
Also being a music journalist would be great, but I'm not sure I could handle the egos on some of the other writers <Shudders at NME>

Also, being a singer in a band would be amazing - I've got a decent singing voice in terms of range, if I do say so myself (and I do) - but I've had my suspicions backed up by others, so go me.

I could also add something about various sexual acts/genuine romances with various unobtainable women, but hey I'm good with writing their name on my hand and pretendi- Erm, I mean what?
