It looks like it could be good, but it could also end up as crap.

Not really, some games look like crap from the start. :p

It is an interesting idea. I hope they don't screw it up.
 
the physics look to be pretty nifty as well... Maybe not on par with hl2 but they do look nice and also affect the game, plus you can fly the ship!!!
 
Looks really original and creative. It look like Pandemic wanted to do something VERY different after Full Spectrum Warrior.

So you don't like RTS games. You don't like console games. Are PC first-person shooters the only thing you play? If so, you're really cutting yourself off from alot of the gaming scene.

Your wrong. I do like RTS games. Im just dont like all of them.

I have every Command & Conquer game.
StarCraft and StarCraft: Brood War.
Age of Empires and Age of Empires: The Rise of Rome.

My favorite is the Command & Conquer series.

My favorite type of games are Fps.
My least favorite type of games are rpgs they are just way to boring.

I use to be into console games, but i feel they cant compete with pc games. I use to have over 70 playstation games, 50-60 Nintendo games and about 30 something sega games.

I dont really like 3rd person games ether. I just cant find a fun 3rd person game.

Have any games with good stories/gameplay ill play it. Doesnt matter what they are (rpgs, 3rd person w/e) If you can recommend some games to me plz post.

^^ Oh, its just in the StrongHold and Battle for Middle Earth threads you said something like "No thanks, I don't like those types of games" so I just assumed you disliked the whole RTS genre. Guess I was wrong. I can't believe you don't like RPGs! Maybe you just haven't played the right ones.
 
Name some good rpgs. The only rpg i liked was Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain just because of the story. I like the Soul Reaver series.

Anyways, how can you not like Starcraft. It is the worlds best RTS. Nothing else has ever come close to it.

I've met people who don't like Half-Life (to puzzle oriented, etc), but I have never met (until now) somebody who didn't like Starcraft.

I didnt like the way the units worked and the art work for the game. There were sone cool/interesting things. I just liked C&C a lot more.
 
people dislike the "new" starcraft, dragoon rushes, hydralisk spam, etc, etc. perhaps our good friend Raziel wasn't there to enjoy the bliss of Starcrafts release. it was certainly an epic game then, and it has its place in the history of gaming, a whole chapter dedicated to it.

(half-life has a seperate book)

It's a tough question. It's very hard to name rpgs you would like. Everyone has his own taste. Purely technically, those rpgs that DarkStar named are the best there are, but not necessarily everyone likes them.

On the topic. I don't follow much Xbox games, but Destroy All Humans sure has a funny name. Looks too cartoony for my taste. The graphics are the basic stuff we always see on consoles, lots of colours and laser beams etc
 
I don't like starcraft either to be true i never found anything amazing about it. I had a playstation 2 for 3 weeks before returning it to my friend...I felt it was a total waste of my time and the only thing i liked was tekken and mgs, even though i feel both are about a bit above par.
 
Wild Arms has a story I just loved :)

intro music was top notch too

StarCraft for me was the best RTS of its kind out. I really think Total war was sufficently different to not be directly comparable.

StarCraft had the best unit Tactics system in any RTS. You could be out built by a long shot yet still win because your forces are in stronger positions or more suited to the situation.

I found that C&C and TA, although really good degenerated down to who had the best economy.
 
I've been following this since the e3 vids.

It looks very promising :) - hope they don't screw it up.

Metal Gear Solid is a GREAT game. I havnt play part 2 tho. Is it out for pc?
