They don't let anything hit the shelves unless it lives upto what they said. They have never had a bad release, I think that speaks for itself.

Toss up between Black Isle and Valve. On one hand BI made the best RPGs ever (IMO) however I don't know of any other developers who answer more emails then Valve.

I think I just shit myself. I cant believe you dont have ID games there. Carmack created the first real time 3d engine. There is no programmer I will ever respect more than John Carmack

You know, gabe does occasionally browse these forums, and if you plan on buying a copy of HL2 when it comes out, you need to shut your flaming mouth! The HL2 forums are populated with people who support valve and HL2, not with people who flame Valve whenever their name comes up.

I admire them alot, as they make good games that seem to be have alot of love put into them, there nice people, I have spoke to at least one of them on each team, they seemed nice anyhow.

I was going to put Valve, but I dont admire them anymore, yes hl is good, the way they handled all this hl2 stuff is poor though, but I do pitty them for haveing to put up with people like ApocalypseNow

Think of Thief. No game even comes close to creating an atmosphere as intense as Thief's, no game.

I used to support VAVLe... That was until Gabe annouced that less then a week before the September 30th release date that they would be delaying that for months to come. I MEAN PEOPLE WERE ASKING HIM SINCE JULY IF THE DELAY RUMORS WERE TRUE... WHAT DID HE HAVE TO SAY ABOUT?? ***no comment*** I wouldn't have been pissed at all if he told everyone in July or August that it was being delayed... Also no benchmark was released that was sapposed to come out... And no media has come out for months (except 1 or 2 new screens in magazines.)

They funniest thing of all was that they Blamed the Hacker for all their problems... They used the "hacker" as an excuse to push the game back 7-8 months!

Also I couldn't really care if Gabe is on these forums now... I hope he read all my posts word for word...

Rockstar games.

They stand by the GTA series and until recently having given Political Corectness whiners the finger. They let me down with their 'we give in , youre right' confession about GTA recently. But their products still are cutting edge and Ive played the whole GTA series since before it was 3d.

The only problem with Valve is their inability to release simple things like videos or benchmarks. Give the file to fileplanet , bam its released. But they make a kickass product and they are nice guys , they are definetly number 2. number 1 after HL2 comes out.

Last on the list IMO is Lucas Arts, in JA they didnt listen to their gaming community at all, and really, in all honesty, JA was just a mod for JK, yes new SP, but MP was a joke...
