looks ok, I dont like the cartoony look, and I think the specular reflection on the tentacles can be a bit more sharper so it looks more wet and slimy.

Looks pretty good, just wanted to point out his ear is cut off along with his right arm though. Some white space between them and the body. This could be intentional, but if not...just wanted to point it out .

Thanks for your comments guys! (btw the blurring isn't a filter, i sketch stuff in really rough first with a medium sized airbrush tool with low opacity...then slowly sharpen up the image as i go along...in this case i just left the one arm as i first sketched it to try and do a depth of field thing)
