Seems the game is much much harder now, especially in Nightmare and Hell.

Sweet. Unfortunatly I got tired of playing D2 last year while I was waiting for the patch, too late for me.

Well, I reinstalled it... I had looked forward to this patch a lot... what... like a year ago?

I try to log on... USEast Realm is down... SAME OLD CRAP.

I create an account on USWest Realm... play for a while... SAME OLD CRAP.

Oh well... it was fun game at one time...

i play diablo 2 i used to play as a werewolf druid and arty necromancer, but now i'm doing an elemental druid since it's actually feasable with the damage increases and synergies. what i don't like, though, is the random, five-second stalls i've been getting, often leading to me having 10 health and being surrounded by baddies. i've also seen such strange things as a melee monster repeatedly hitting me while being on the opposite side of the screen. i guess it's server issues due to the massive distribution of the new patch. i imagine that's why the east realm is down. there's an absolute buttload of people on the east coast, all trying to get the d2 patch
