DICE on Mirror's Edge 2: We want a broader audience

Sigh... that article is a year old.

But anyway here's what I would want in a sequel:

- Keep the art style
- Rehire Solar Fields to do the soundtrack
- Make the game openworld, with the entire city explorable
- Add an enhanced melee system with more kung-fu moves
- Keep it in first person. I don't want yet another 3rd person sandbox game
- And last but not least, write a better story for it

Oh and FFS do not make it a one button does everything kind of game.

All of this would be great, but I can't see modern day DICE managing most of that successfully.

"piss off we're gonna make a game with more qtes than Asura's Wrath and Battlefield 3 combined".
Eh, just curious, but what QTEs are there in Battlefield 3? The only ones I can recall are in the multiplayer coop. Even then it's only the very last part of the last mission.

A number of them in the singleplayer. Though the argument can be made "Why the hell would anyone play Battlefield for the SP besides the Bad Company series".

Oh the single player. Well, yea, **** that shit. I haven't gotten past the first mission lmao

I really hope they don't ruin this by making it all guns and shit. The first was an awesome experience. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt though. At least we get more of that awesome art style. (With added lens flare, filters and dirty eyes.)

I thought the first was great until those stupid ninja jumpers started chasing you, that ruined the game imo.
