Real men don't use shotguns with a gauge over 12. And 12 is pushing the limits of manliness. I personally only use 12 gauges for shaving purposes by blasting the hair off my chin. The manliest of men use -10 gauge for when they go out hunting mutant cyber bears or tanks.
Um not really.Glo-Boy said:The guy almost died... recent update. He had a heart attack because of pellet in or near his heart.

We should be sad the shot wasn't fatal.
You mean you didn't have to leave your soul as a deposit? I thought that was common practice.Angry Lawyer said:Yes, because being a lawyer makes you less of a human.
Asshole.

Even if I wasn't opposed to hunting birds that have just been released from cages 10 feet away from you, shooting someone else is surely a good enough reason to take these peoples guns away.
What fun do these people get shooting nearly 500 birds in an hour or so? They must just enjoy killing things.

Now in a real life situation I'm sure some might engage in terrorist acts, but organized response would target them alongside any occupation force, an unwarranted attack on US citizens would make them an immediate enemy in any situation like that.
One side is always wrong in that thinking, though. Goes by situation too, not saying that as a blanket 'well whoever I don't like is terrorists!'CptStern said:of course, it was a propaganda piece ..one persons freedom fighter is another person's terrorist
Are you kidding? Because of gun registration the shop owner is killed and they find/kill every owner. Albeit a very extreme example that really wouldn't take place like that, it's in no way supporting an anti-gun agenda.DeusExMachinia said:Red Dawn had a few obscure anti-gun messages in it. FYI.
And also, Red Dawn's quite possibly one of the greatest movies ever.

CptStern said:oh and history has proven you wrong ..if the country descends into anarchy I have no doubt many americans will resort to violence against their countrymen for whatever reasons
Sorry but it was obviously bullshit.DeusExMachinia said:Oh no, its somewhere there. And I remember reading an interview with the director.
DeusExMachinia said:Plus, the movie wasn't your run-of-the-mill propaganda. They kill one of their own during the middle. Most of them die. One of the Russian officers even becomes disillusioned with it all. It's pretty dark for what would seem like a campy, B action movie.

Good God. No wonder the general public is so appalled by the media nowadays. HELLO ****ING MORONS. MASSIVE MUDSLINE IN PHILIPPINES? MASSIVE BLACKOUTS IN THE NORTHEAST DUE TO HUGE STORMS? DOPING RAID ON AUSTRIAN OLYMPIC TEAM?
This is rediculous, they ignore all of the above to run with "OMFG CHENEY HUNTING ACCIDENT" still. It was great they rolled with it when it happened, when it was breaking news. There isn't even any new developments from it though. Perhaps if they guy died or something but no, absolutely nothing is new, and there's a TON of news that needs reporting, important stuff. I hate the mass media.
