well i was banned once already, but then again the post that got me banned previously also had a warning....maybe i should remove the warning.......

The show is still ongoing. Have faith. That was pretty funny Valved Ray.

They didn't mention anything about Half-Life 2 in the show.

I can't say I'm surprised though.

im not bashing them or anything. it just seems like they would interview mod teams or something rather than no one, or people with out much interesting info. i think it would be kind of exciting to hear from some of the big mod teams out there and whats going on currently.

i sang a song, a pretty song to munro to unban me from #halflife2 irc channel
i sang and sang but he didnt like it :(

Yeah they are rerunning it. I really hate this false advertising stuff.

Yeah, they sure did a HLR by advertising and not saying a single jack about the actual subject. The fanboys just yelled and said "They do this all the time, they have a newschat before the actual discussion" and then I got banned from their channel.

I wanted to catch it but i feel asleep :) Guess going eith my gut once again prevailed

I'm starting to just ignore anything posted about HL Radio having anything. Every time I tune in they never do.

Even after posting a news post saying they do. o_O

If HLR would just once do things right, my faith in them would be restored.

I distinctly remember them talking about neutering dogs.

Go go HLR. You surely deserve your name. /sarcasm

HLR is horrible. We know it, and I hope that they know it.

Half-Life2.net is the best webpage and/or community you can come to; for just about anything HL2 related. Gabe Newell even commented that he loves this webpage and forum.

HLR always says things, but almost never backs them with fact and or actual event. Sometimes, a mod or head admin for HLR will come on here and try to justify what they do. It always ends with them saying "well I am right so ha ha" and they leave. They are garbage, and to me they are a disgrace to the half-life community.

Anyone who doesn't agree with their opinion is flogged, killed and burn't at a cross.

I can honestly say I have a high hatred for HLR, and I cannot believe Gabe Newell even did an interview with them. I wonder how hard they pressured Valve itself to do it.

HL2.net is the best Half-Life 2 community webpage out there. I dare someone to say it isn't.

gabe asked them
HLR is good. i don't see why you hate them soo much?
at least they don't close threads for silly reasons then put liberal statements and questions that cant be answered after a thread is closed. seriously who asks a question to a thread you are closing. ever heard of just "closed"
not to mention any names *cough* _________.___ *cough*

Hah...that is amusing that Gabe asked them. HLR is not by any means good. They do close threads when somebody doesn't agree with their opinion. Admins used to come on here a lot and try to justify little things that they never did or said. They put spin and liberal opinion on their radio all the time. In fact, their spin makes me turn off their radio almost all the time. People get banned all the time for posting their opinion on what they do. I could go on and on. [I am using heavy emphasis of "all the time" for a reason ^_~]

I have yet to see an admin on HL2.net close a thread that wasn't due process or justified. Show me proof otherwise and I might agree.

Lol, you're making me want to go Lollerskating, Yes they close threads.
And i guess you could compare the due process to my sig.

if you don't like hl2.net or its mods, why do you post here?

As for Half-life radio, their idea (the radio show) is nice in theory but horrible in execution.

Well i don't come here to feed of the mods great intellect or to stare at the great web design, I come here because there are some nice people, quite a few. People make threads with some pretty good ideas and when something new is gonna happen i probably read it here on the forums. And yes i like the mods here, it's just a few that are rotting the apple pie.

Valved ray, you turned into a hlr fanboi, all you do is run around doing stupid shit. A lot of people are sick of hlr fanboi's.

I have listened to HLRadio once a while back, they had outdated info (by months) no new info (even though it was out there) and even info that was corrected (a while before) by other sources they spew out the earlier WRONG information, as such I think their radio show is seriously lacking talent and informed voices, great idea, but someone else needs to do this that knows what they are talking about.

It's funny how they keep trying to usethe "exclusive interview" to boost their egos. They claim that they are apparently the only ones who got the information about CS:Source (which they claim is the only HL2 multiplayer) and in fact its funny to watch the videos from May 15 from E3 where Gabe presents CS:Source and then look at their page: Exclusive mention of HL2's multiplayer.

Ahhhh, oh well, let them get their kicks from running their "radio station". It will all be over when HL2 comes out and nobody tunes in.

PS: I heard they even talked about having an "intership" position in HLR. I found that funny by itself.

HLR = CNN

HL2.net = Foxnews.

That should give you a pretty good comparison.

Alas--enough HLR bashing for one month.[Even if it is all the truth]

I enjoyed much of the interesting and knowledgeable discussion early in the show.
:\

You mean the part where they talked about naked people or the part where they played ATI commercials for a whole 5 minutes?

While I could bash HLR, my real ? is where's the info they promised? If they could just deliver on their promises (or not make promisies) they may gain a tiny ounce of respect.

I chuckle at the people who actualy stayed up for that.

While you lot were screaming into your mics or typing on your keyboards.... i was having the most wonderful dream involving lesbians and whipped cream.
