did we have a preload today?

Im just wondering why its not posted on steampowered.com, but when i juiced my compy up today, steam opened a box that said

"UNLOCKING HALF-LIFE 2 MATERIALS"
then added some more crap into the preload and then locked back up. i dont know if it was really big enough though to call a preload, it went back down to 95% then back up to 100%.


I freaked out though when it said it was unlocking my stuff!

Just got that too. Anyone try looking at hl2 files? Perhaps textures, models n' such are viewable now, just not capable of coordinating to form the game?

Mine is the worst situation I've heard of so far. It did the Unlocking HL2 files bit, the minor CSS update, but my HL2 preload went back down to 76%!!

And I can't even pause it. =\

I believe it is just part of the CSS update, since CSS draws from some HL2 data. Nov 16th...the city opens

I think it was engine updates from the gold code of HL2 and probably put almost every single file on our comp now!

Do you read the list of posts in the forum? I was about to post a "OMFG HL2 UNLOCK" until I checked, and LO AND BEHOLD, SOMEONE HAD ALREADY POSTED IT. Learn how to use a forum.

The CS:S engine build updated from 2166 to 217X something like that.

Hes right, however to prove that it was a preload my Half Life 2 folder area after the update went from 4.22 gigs to 4.28 so something was added thats for sure. Just dont know what... :afro:
