I don't care whether we did or not. I do like 'Ground Control to Major Tom' though. I'd so take that to listen to if I went to the moon.

We did. Read some real science on the subject and you'll find out that all the flaws in the conspiracy arguement.
 
we did. every conspiracy rumour has been well debunked.
 
We did, you can present any "evidence" that we didn't and i can give a logical reason, the main "evidence" that people come up with is usually confusion around the fact the moon has no atomosphere, 6th earth gravity, different materials and stronger sunlight etc etc etc.

You can try if you like.
 
LOL. Putting aside all of the incredibly poor science that the conspiracy theorists cling to, let's look at something else. Russia. The many moon landings happened during the height of the cold war. If there was any nation in the world that would be able to watch our rockets go to the moon it was Russia. Wouldn't our biggest, baddest, meanest enemy of the time be quick to point out lies and deceit? They would have told every soul on the planet that the US is lying about going to the moon and used science to disprove the US claims had this been the truth.
 
Yes we landed on the moon. In my mind there is no second thoughts... That would be a BIG STUNT for the Goverment and NASA to pull off just to fake a lot of people. So yes they did.
 
Yes, the moon landing is in fact true. The idea that it was faked is one of the more annoying and persistent conspiracy theories, despite a total lack of scientific basis.

As has already been mentioned, there is no point of this conspiracy that hasn't been thoroughly debunked, but I expect that the theory will last until someone returns to the moon and revisits the landing sites.

The one thing I read that NASA didnt get right was the le grange point, there's a pretty good debate on the previously predicted 1/6 gravity of the earth. Apparently the le grange point was about 20 to 40 thousand miles further out from the moons surface than a 1/6 gravity predicition, meaning the moons actual gravity is more like 1/3 of the earths, suggesting the internal makeup of the moon is a bit more dense than anyone had concieved.

But that raises questions.. if indeed the moon does have more gravity than predicted, and NASA had failed to predict it, all their calculations for the journey and thrust needed to get back off the surface would of been horrifically wrong.. but that didnt happen so they must of known.. and just not said anything. People assume NASA are holding back because they dont answer alot of questions that require detail clearly enough... thats the main reason why the conspiracey stuff has gone so far.
 
yes, they did. what's the point of faking it anyway? And we all saw the rocket leave, which cost quite a few million dollars and quite a few billion dollars to develop technology to do that. now would they do that just so it would fly around a little and fall back down to Earth when everyone is thinking it landed on the Moon? think of how many people commited suicide trying and failing to invent this stuff.
 
I'm sorry, but do you really think nasa would be so careless as to overlook some of this crap? They can send 8 people into space and bring them back unharmed, yet all of the ROCKET SCIENTISTS just forgot to 'build' a blast crater SIX times?

I don't understand the part with the crosshairs, i mean i do, but it doesn't make sense. If the crosshairs were on the camera, then they would have to photoshop in the equipment, the flag, the space guy, etc to get the 'stuff' on top of the crosshairs. Which means they take the picture of the set, then take the pictures of the stuff and place them on top of each other. In that case, why would he put the crosshairs on the image first? Even 15yr old photoshoppers don't make that mistake. I don't even make that mistake.

The shadows also aren't very persuading, i mean if they had one guys shadows cleary facing east/west then immediately next to him another guys shadow was going north south then yea. But if you have one guy who’s shadow is at a 49* angle, then a pebble 50 yards away has a shadow going 67*, then no, i'm not going to say the moon landing was fake.

this is so 1 sided....

seriously? No telescope can see the moon? Hubble can see galaxies a million billion lightyears away, but can't see a car on something 240000 miles away? I can find my car on google earth...(yea i know it's closer, but still)

Why would we waste time with hubble, turning it around and redirecting it from the valuable work its doing/done and waste it becuase some crackpot theorists dictate that we should.
 
It would be nice for once, to re-align hubble for a day and take some pictures of the landing sites.. just so they can shut the conspiracey up once and for all.
 
The US government lies about a hell of a lot of things, but landing on the moon wasn't one of them.

Hubble is meant for seeing stuff REALLY far away. I don't know if it could focus on something on the moon. And even then, you very well might just see single pebble blown up to four hundred times magnification. :D

I saw this documentary some time ago about it.
After the the death of Stanley Kubrick his wife confessed some video footage was faked and that the scenes were made by Kubrick.
They said they faked the footage before the launch too make sure they had footage of it, they werent sure if they were gonna get good footage on the moon, without would've been impossible to proof they were on the moon.

Looking at the video most of it looks very very fake idd, but this doesnt proof that the real vague footage was fake, infact the only thing they had to say about the real footage was that is was very vague...
