Do any if you guys use digitizer tablets?

If so, for what programs (photoshop and....) and how useful are they?

If you mean Tablet when you say "Digitizer Tablet" then I love mine. PS7.

well i'm going to break the first rule you gave because I don't have one. But I really need a wacom tablet, but recently I've been looking at a tablet pc which would essentially fill two roles, that of computer and digitizer, all the while being enormously cool to own.

Why does it have to be a Wacom?

Okay people, I will brake another rule. Which is a good tablet?

I got a wacom graphire3, havent drawn with it for a while though.

edit: oh yeah, and I likes it :D

I have a Wacom Intuos2 9x12. It's big.

I'm not looking for how much people want them, I want to know how people like the one's the have, and possibly which brand/model they have.

I have one Wacom 4 x 5 but its rather small and becomes annoying when you find yourself drawing on accident past the censor area. Also it is quite impossible even for a professional digital painter to get extreme details as you would with an ordinary pencil, Most digital paintings look exactly that, like paint.. If you want super refined detail There are those Labtop computers that are around $3000 where you can actually draw directly onto the monitor. I so want one.

A Tablet PC? Good for the office, but not for gaming :p

Wacom Graphire 2, Use it for everything.. It reduces the chance of RSI to because you dotn have your wrist flat on the table or mousemat like you have when you use a mouse. It gives you alot lesser stress in the wrist and its great for digital painting and photshop.

Use it with photoshop CS and painter classic and browsing internet and.. wel.. everything

Well, thanks for your input guys, I went ahead and got an aiptek 1200U, 12x9 usable! I see how it rocks for stuff like adobe PS. Been using it 10 miutes and I'm already gettin the hang of it!

[keep posting for others if you guys want, I'm satisfied ;) ]
