DirectX Diagnostic Tool doesnt respond

When I get into DirectX Diagnostic Tool it gives me error messages something like -direct sound didnt work last time would you like to skip it, clicking no crashes the computer, then when i get into the DirectX Diagnostic Tool it tells me the same thing but instead direct music yet again it crashes if i dont skip it .

When I try and access any 3d program, Install quicktime?!?, play anything in winamp or media player it stops responding also now and then my screen goes blank as it does when it suspends itself for say a second, i cant close any of these programs that dont respond cos as soon as I do my computer crashes and i cant do anything.

Help my computer is fu**ed.

Reinstall your computer and reinstall everything. You seem to have severe software problems m8

First remember to secure the newest drivers for all your components. A good way of having your computer ready to format is having your HDD parted in 2 or more partitions. with all your important files on partition 2 and windows and the progs u can easily recover on partition 1. Thats what I do

bugger i cant be bothered with this formating thingy ahwell i got so much crap on this computer so its gonna be very quick to clean it out this way.
