Disabling the valve intro?

does anyone know how to disable the little valve intro when you start up DOD:S? I just think it's a waste of time and would rather not have it at all.

lol, i was coming in here to ask this very question. I think there is a way to do it. connecting from the desktop gets delayed incredibly from it.

Is there any way to stop the video playing when you launch from the Steam server browser? If not then I guess I'll just have to use the shortcut.

Yes, just right click on the game and click properties (in the steam play games window) then go to launch options and add -novideo. Thats it. Now you can run the game from the server browser.
