Ok I need no help anymore. I worked out the alpha textures and the results are awesome. There will be an upstairs big area with custom props, like chairs and tables to throw.

As you can see still a few texture issues. It has a stack(from goldeneye) feel.

Any way to make the textures glow a little? That would add some much needed visual flare.

The only way i think this could work would be to use illuminated textures like a skybox. But it would be difficult. Its pretty bright as it is.
 
justmatt that was code. It could be done in HL, there was an article on VERC about it :)

Thats a great idea can't believe i hadn't thought that. So all stairs will become ramps.
 
Just submitted it to hl2files.com so hopefully it should be up today or tomorrow.
