Do Dogs Make You Not Angry?

My dog goes to an old-folks home because she's a therapy dog, the people just pet her and feel happy, I guess..

I was thinking, would I be a more angry person if I didn't have dogs, because when I think about it, I spend alot of time playing fetch/tug of war/ect. with my dogs, and have fun, but if I didn't have dogs, would I be an angry person?

Think about it, those of you with dogs, are you generally angry, and those of you without dogs, are you genreally angry?

Just wondering..

I guess the question can be with cats too, I have 4 dogs and 3 cats... so I don't know..

I've never had a cat or a dog (although I always wanted a dog). I have some pet fish but that's all. I don't think I'm an angry person.

My dogs have made me happy. They've also made me incredibly pissed off, but I think I'm a tamer person because of them on the whole.

Being home by yourself after a night of drinking and having your dog lay by your feet is always good company.

My dog (Labrador) can piss me off but also make me laugh like no other can.

She generally pisses me off when walking outside with her, I hate walking with her, she's often a total c*nt outside, disobedient and stubborn. Although walking with her on a nice summer/spring day and some music with me, walking with her can be pleasant.

But just seeing how she behaves and acts, is pretty hilarious sometimes, she has a distinct personality and a mind of her own. We probably raised her wrong or something, because I don't think she sees us as her masters but she's just an equal part of the family.

But she's also sweet and a good companion.

My cats are cuddly and really playful. Sure they're slobs but they're awesome. Hate cleaning up dead mice they bring back though. Eugh. x_X

My fish are really relaxing to watch. And this one big fish i have always comes up the glass to see whats going on when anyone comes near and looks in

My birds can be noisy, but they had babies so its cute

And my Rabbit and Guinea pig... Sure they eat 24/7, but they're sooo cuddly and i love it when my rabbit runs and he hops about the place.

My cats like to rip them in half... leave a stomach or something nasty in between with the juices seeping out... brains or something else on the floor too... not a very nice site to wake up to. Even worse to clean up.

My dog used to be scared to death of the postman when he put letters through the letter box... Now he's got brave and goes crazy when anyone comes to the door. Kinda annoying but i know he's just protecting whats his

I love my 3 cats most of the time they're just funny, cute and loveable.

I don't particularly love it when Mishka opens the kitchen door and finds her way to my room at 3am, when she scratches and scratches at my door until I wake up and let her in. But she gives me lots of hugs so that's ok

And Ginger tries to bite me. I just sit at the kitchen table and he'll attack my feet in this bizarre flurry of claws and meowing D:

Steve, my oldest cat, will seem all nice and cuddly for a second then attack you like you were trying to kill him. It confuses me, and I have so many battle scars from petting him.

My Dogs bark at EVERYTHING. Even if someone just walks by - they bark, someone goes in my driveway (car or walking) they bark. They sometimes bark for no reason at all.. Cause they feel like barking, I guess.

My Therapy dog has been trained, so she doesn't bark around my mom (the one who trained her), My other dogs listen to nothing, though.. My mom is a professional dog trainer, and she can't even train my other 2 dogs.. They are Ferral, is what she says... :\
