I had 4 shots of Smirnoff last night. Thats it. I felt fine during the night, went to sleep. After waking up, I've been throwing up constantly. I'm up to 3 times as of writing this. I don't have a headache, and my face is all blotchy. Is this a hangover, or do I have a stomach virus?

hangover = liver cant deal with alcohol , you get posonnig all over

u dont have that,

to get a hangover you need seriously large amounts of booze, u had 4 shots, u eat anything dodgy???

4 shots? I don't think you had enough to drink to give a hangover (unless you're not a drinker/about the size of a squirrel/are literally as light as a feather). You may have had some dodgy vodka.

Are you sure it was vodka and not paint stripper?

Somebody poisoned you and you are going to die. :x

Of course, I'm only kidding. Feel better buddy <pats your back, making sure to keep his distance from another heave>

You're turning into a were-wolf, I advise you start making your way to Raziaar's house.

We can stalk him together! :D

*Ahem*

No, i'd doubt you would have a hangover. (The way you describe how you're feeling isn't like one.)

Maybe some dodgy vodka in the Smirnoff, as many people have suggested.

I hope he doesn't develop styrofoam feet like the last one. Damn, those things were shoddy as hell and broke easily.

allergic reaction? You could be allergic to whatever you've been drinking or to alchohol itself.

I'd go to see a doctor, a hangover shouldn't give you a blotchy face.

That's what I was gonna say. I have a friend who's allergic to alcohol and her face gets beet red when she drinks. She once had some rum ice cream and was puking

You might be allergic to distilled alcohol, like someone I know.

If so, it sucks/it's great to be you.

They're putting brain worms in booze now!? Oh noes! I thought they were only found in Japanese food.

no that was wendy's chili that they were found in...

Smirnoff isn't even a hard drink, four shots of it? Hah! Hang over? Hell no.

YOU'RE PREGNANT!

Cooties, baby - you're toast. Did you, in your drunken stupor, make the mistake of playing 'cootie catcher' with some young lady? You probably picked 'green' and '4' (worst combination, by the way) and wound up with the classic "You stink". Now, however, you have a case of the cooties (and the spray won't work).

Get yourself to triage and ask a professional.

Unlucky mate, its happened to me before, ended up being dodgy food that did it tho...eat anything after/before drinking?

Smirnoff is 37.5% if memory serves :)

Oh, and I discovered what your problem is - you didn't throw up, so the capilliries in your face have burst. Don't worry, it's temporary.

Wow, that can't be as bad as it sounds.

I haven't checked this thread in a while, and I feel bad about how everyone seems so concerned about me, so I felt like I should update it.

I figured out that it was a hangover, for the following reasons. 1. I'm a liqour n00b 2. I had an empty stomach 3. I didn't drink any fluids afterwards 4. I took those 4 shots within a time period of 3 - 5 minutes. ComradeBadger was right about my face. Puking made all the blood vessels in my face pop. They're slowly going away, so I dont like a freak anymore.

Did I learn my lesson? Yes, no more Smirnoff. I had a 40 of Steel Reserve the next day though. God bless college.

Four shots? How could you get hungover from that, even if it you are a liquor n00b?

But didn't you say you didn't feel drunk? After four shots within 3-5 minutes you would definitely feel it eventually, especially as a liquor noob. Still sounds like an allergic reaction to me

Oops, I was thinking of Smirnoff ICE. That stuff is about 5%.

Perhaps you did get messed up after four shots of that stuff. Your stomach was empty, you don't drink quite often. But, for some reason even though it's reasonable, I just can't picture somebody getting messed up after four shots of anything 40%, never seen it.

Oh, I felt it. It did the trick for me. However, maybe it was an allergic reaction to the Smirnoff. I don't know, I feel better now. Also, I'm over 200 pounds.

Even though I'm feeling better now, it's still a mystery of what actually happened.

It's todo with how hard you threw up :p - empty stomach is a big factor, as your body tries to heave up stuff that just isn't there.
