you can buy a voice changer, any department store has them in the Halloween section. they're about $10 and come with; Alien, deep voice, high voice, and regular

Personally, I've always wanted to talk like Stephen Hawking or Microsoft Speech.

You can get pretty basic voice changing software that will do 'male, female, alien', but nothing that accurate. MorphVOX is one I know.

The Philip Seymour Hoffman voice changer...i have 3.

I actually think the "mask" thing is somewhat possible, although not nearly to the extent they use it in the movie. If that did exist today the world as we know it would end.

I know there is one really great female voice changer some guys used to screw with people on CS:S. Worked to such an extent where they believed he was a girl. Top-quality stuff.
