Haha, I never noticed a damn thing of all the bugs mentioned in this thread.

Would you see any shadows from the flashlight if it did cast them? Doesn't it project along Gordon's line of sight?

in some cases, like in farcry if you angle yourself properly you can see shadows cast by the flashlight, but most of the time yeah, its along your line of sight so you dont even see them.

Yeah, I didn't notice any of these bugs until they were pointed out to me :E.

I remembered one bug from the bugbait video. (get it? :p)
Just when you are about to enter the room with the two turrets, they start shooting at you and shoots at the windows and wall etc.
When they shoot at the wall just under the window it makes a shooting mark as if it hit a wall but they don't cut that texture of when it reaches the window. So it looks like the window is some sort of wall at that point all of a sudden.

You mean that glitch where the bullet holes for the doors to that big hall with the autoguns in it use the glass bullet hole decal instead of the metal one?

Yeah, it doesn't switch when it goes over to another object.

Oh, there are metal hit-decals there, if you look, but it looks like there was a glitch in the materials, and any metal near the glass gets a bit of glass hit-decal...

Y'know, I think the best answer to this thread is, "Yes, VALVe do trying to fix their bugs."...
