well with Halo coming out in britian on saturday and Max payne 2 soon after that.

Max Payne 2, on the other hand, is like a breath of fresh air in a cesspool full of decomposing rotting corpses.

This would be a great chance for Doom III to step in and release their game. I would be first in line to buy Doom III just to fill the gaping casm left by Half Life 2.

Call of Duty does have multiplayer....and personally, that is the next release I'm really looking forward to.

I'm gonna keep visiting this site and checking the forums everyday but to be honest..until I see that HL2 box in the stores I'm not going to get too excited.

HL2 is a massive game with a massive following, this forum and the surrounding community proves that.....but at the end of the day it is only a game.

I'm sure I won't get as much excitement from CoD or any of the other games released before HL2...but at least they will numb the pain for a while.
