That would come under pest control I believe. What weapon they'll let you have depends upon what pest you're going to be control. I.e. no .308 rifles for dealing with rabbits and foxes. Then again, its not too tricky to prove that you've got a deer problem and so you can get a stalking rifle with out too much trouble.

And you can always say that you want if for target shooting though.

This isn't the medieval era. I think people should keep 1-2 handguns max in their house and in a safe spot. Having automatic weapons or flails is just weird. Now if you had a flail as a decorative piece, fine. But for using in self defense?

with a gun it's a lot easyer to kill a person, and you feel less conected to the person being killed! with a toe-to-toe weapon you have to really be determined to go ahead and fight! yes, chanses you'll win are smaller, but they arent only for the kill, but running twowards a guy with a 15 inch razor sharp blade isn't nice!

it doesn't matter an idiot will always be an idiot, if he has a gun or a sword, thing is that with a sword he would more likely hurt himself than others!



btw...that flail i made is no bigger than an average cell phone, it is a aluminium tube with an manual oppening button that releases an brass head (the head is not spiked but blunt...i don't want to kill anybody). it's like having your personal cig pot with you. i dout you could kill anyone with that, but more to remind not to **** with me. :smoking: it depends, if the other guy is fighting fair.

Hey, I'm not trying to be a hero or anything, I would just want to stop the intruder. I don't know about you but I don't want to feel "connected" to the criminal, I just want to stop them if they pose a threat to me or my family.
