I do. I mean, they're an awesome place to hang out and chat, and to learn stuff, and it's really a lot of fun, but sometimes, there's just too much. Like of course playing HL2 and enjoying it to its fullest is top priority, but there's just SO MANY forums to read, SO MANY articles to learn on mapping, etc., I just feel like I can't cover it all. I desire to read all the posts on all the boards because I feel like I'm missing out on information otherwise. But try doing that here, and at the VERC, and on the Steam forums, and everywhere else, and NOT be a geek who's on his computer 24/7. Yeah, it's not possible. Any of you guys ever feel this way?

Also, with high school, and a job, and a gilrfriend, free time for stuff like this in general is very limited. I'm sure many of you experience this.

Just do as much as you can/want. Be happy with what you have...

Whenever I get raped I feel overwhelmed... but I get used to it and so should you. :E

What kind of raped are you talking about? lol

I'm very happy with what I have, I don't want to give any of it up for more computer time. But that's not what this thread's about, really. It's about there being so much content on the forums and thinking you're missing out by not reading it all.

I'm SURE other people have thought that before.

If theres any big info, you'll know it. No need to scramble through the forums bullsh*t.

Most people who often hang around forums for long periods of time is because they have nothing else better to do. Not exactly that they're looking for something. So, if you have something else better to do, then screw the forums.

This is like the only forum I visit, aside from clan forums and AG2's :)

And moderating is a nice way of relaxing :)

I AGREEE!!!!!

sometimes i just have like a week off, just to stop posting. i used to go in every thread in the off topic forum. , but now i only go in ones that intrest me. i only post in: off topic, general gaming and art and design. any more and i would be overwhelmed.

No...I don't spend much time here anymore, because I finally got a life ;)

What a perfect way to summarize.

Good to know, then, and good advice: read only what's interesting to you, big news will find you whether you read forums or not, and life comes before forums.
