Outlaws! :D Haven't played it much, but I definitely remember it. I think it was on the Duke Nukem 3D engine? (Build?)

I remember Heretic so well! It used to scare the shit out of me!! Then again, I probably shouldn't have been watching it when I was five!!!

first game - Wolfenstein
2nd game - Heretic/Hexen/Strife
3rd game - Indiana Jones?
Close.

1: Spear of Destiny
2: Hexen 2
3: Indy and the Fate of Atlantis

Also bonus round!

4: Dark Reign (Played the shit out of this on a friend's comp when I was still too poor to get my own. **** yeah martyrs.)

If you get this one I am sexually indebted to you:

Close.

1: Spear of Destiny
2: Hexen 2

Spear of Destiny > Wolfenstein 3D but both are awesome.

I LOVE all Hexen and Heretic games. The first Hexen game is the best one by far.

Well, except for Heretic II.

Well you're just completely useless then.

It's like playing Call of Duty 4 on the DS without having played any other Call of Duty game on the pc or console and saying the DS version is good.

Well if the DS version was good*, then why the hell wouldn't you say it?

*I'm going to assume that the DS version is not good, atleast compared to the other CoDs, which makes it a dumb point. Because Road Rash 64 is fun as shit, whether it's not as good as it's preceeding titles or not.

This is like a ****ing trip through memory lane. I've pratically played all the games in this thread. Hocus pocus, that one for the ps1 with the guy with the pink hair etc.

Not really that old at all, but it's always been one of my favorites. And with Grimm's Fairytales, American McGee has proven it is also one of a kind.

Jill, Cosmo, Hocus Pocus, KEEEEEEEEN. Gah Dos Nostalgia.

Then there was Bio Menace.

When 3dRealms used to be Apogee they made some pretty good ones.

Oh. My. God. Completely forgot about this game, but now I remember :)

And +1 to Hocus Pocus, Keen, Cosmo, Jill.

Perhaps a good thread to ask this: I remember playing a really awesome game a long, long time ago. I don't remember much about it. Actually, the only thing I do remember is that it was a 2D game, levels may or may not have been maze-like in structure, I remember the background of the levels being black and there was an enemy in it that was a circular saw that you needed to avoid. That's it. I hope this perfectly non-vague description is enough :p

The best 16-bit game? Possibly. The best not much played outside of Japan 16-bit game? Easily!

Oh my god. Project Justice? I LOVED that game.

Outlaws! I remember playing this game when I was a wee lad.

(Porky Pig's Haunted Holiday, Dark Forces, Monster Truck Madness)

I'm seeing tons of old games in here that are nostalgiaing me to death. Midtown Madness, Outlaws, Oregon Trail, Diddy Kong Racing...

Damn that brings back memories, I remember spending days trying to work out how to use the track editor. And to think I've been part of the MTM editing community for over 6 years now.

I got both MTM and MTM2 around the times they came out. Some of my earliest PC gaming love affairs (along with AOE and Starcraft around the same time). I still can hear Army Armstrong's hilarious announcing...

"Bigfoot's got four big wheels and he AIN'T usin' any of 'em!"
"Damn! Who's passin' out the harps and the halos?"
