There will be mods out there for flyable vehicles. Looks at Rocket Crowbar for HL1... That mod is one of my favorites. It's pretty low tech, and it has a helo you can fly (not very good physics...but hey...it's something), a garg thingy to use, a black ops chick to take over, and all sorts of things.

If you haven't played it...go get it now. It's a blast to mess around with.

Gabe said in one of his interviews that source allows for three way transportation or something like that, and anyways, he said that becauses of that modders could create flyable aircraft, it jsut wont be in the game they made (at least in sp). Hey, hl 1 had helicopeters, im sure u could make aircraft for HL2
