Those type of winter caps that resemble the one's russians are seen to be wearing in movies and stuff.

like that but, I am looking for something more fashionable and theres supposed to be flaps for the ears.

I think they're Cossack hats or something like that?

It's officially called a cap, that's synonymous with hat. The Beard Cap.

Beard Cap, Beard Hat, it's all the same. Look at that hat. LOOK at it. It is the best hat.

But where is the variety? Where is the personalization? WHERE IS THE RASTAFARIAN MODE?

Who cares about those things? This hat has a beard.

Perhaps you do not know about the manliness of beards?

Ushanka is the Russian word for hat and is the general name for those kinds of hats in the Western world. Also Shapka (the Ukrainian word for hat) is sometimes used.

The one in your picture does have ear flaps, they're just tied over the crown of the head. It's not considered very masculine to wear the ear flaps down in Russia though.

what the...? beard face mask. lmao .

Okay I did a quick search for Ushanka's but, most of them are military versions. I found out here in the U.S. for fashion purposes I guess, they're called "trapper hats". I went to the local American Eagle(i dont shopthere but my gf does) so they had one left and thats what they call them. I might just get the military versions to appease my manliness :p

They are sold/used in finland too, and here they are called "Russian Hats". If you get a real proper fur version, they are really awesomly warm when it's -30. But I think one of them might be a bit warm in California. Apparently the best ones are made of bearfur.

Here's a good one: what kind of hat does "The Fisherman" wear? Whatever it is, it's also awesome. Perhaps not as awesome as The Beard Cap, but still awesome. (My initial guesses of "Bowler Cap and Beret turned out to be horribly wrong. Especially the Bowler Cap.)
