aka Tomb Raider Legends.
These are, supposedly, in-game shots, which is perfectly plausible, but they don't really tell us anything...
Except that she has more explosives than before, which is always a good thing.

Personally, I'm yet to be convinced. There is every possibility that they could make a great game, but they're going to have to do something pretty impressive to bring it forward.
Maybe we'll see some stuff at E3; maybe it'll be the final nail in her high-topped coffin.

I realize she's kind of got a jaunty stance, but lordy! That ass is almost pointed sideways. It looks likes her left leg is about 5 inches longer than her right.

I'll have to see at least one new gameplay element before I begin to speculate. I'm not ruling out the possibility of it being worthwhile though, since I think Angel of Darkness might have been the last straw for the direction the series was taking.

Maybe 'cause her last 3 games were crap. It'd be pretty cool if they took a new, very dark aesthetic for this game.
One tiny thing that will make it instantly shit: The lack of mouse-look, a la Max Payne. If you still have to swivel her around with the arrow keys I'm very very put off.

And her arse - using my imagination here - is set at a jaunty angle, thrust out by one of her hips. Either that or she got arse implants that wen terribly terribly wrong.

Her proportions are ****ed up, the legs for instance are alienish big, heck, everything below her shirt is way too big for her upper body.

This is going to be a waste of time..

Pretty low-poly for an ingame model. Maybe with some normal maps it'd be more acceptable, but her legs look really bad. No complaints about her... other features, though

They said more realistic body proportions before no ways those knees wouldent simply snap under her body weight (with those hips/ass). If the fact that the original Tomb Raider guru means anything this one should at least turn out better then Angel of Darkess (dog shit would be better)

And yeah, Lara's FAR from what you'd call "realistic". I get pissed off by these ridiculous female characters in games - it just adds to this myth that we're all pathetic lonely solitary wankers.

They've basically milked the Tomb Raider franchise...
As soon as Eidos or whomever recognized that people think of Lara Craft as a sex symbol...They've been working their hardest to make her more and more sexier...At the cost of gameplay / story.
They're ****ing idiots and should quit making games.

I don't fancy Lara, but Jessica is damn sexy. Her entrance scene in that film is fantastic. That film as a whole is fantastic, as it goes.

Lara however...just doesn't do it for me like she used to, Those two weeks during the early days of puberty were my most enjoyable experience of Tomb Raider.

Tomb raider was a great game. Back when I was 9 or 10 I loved playing them with cheats, because the controls were too hard for me to even get past the first level. Plus I could never figure out what do do next. I think I played every level of Tomb Raider 2 (with help from the level cheat), but never actually completed one. And yea... I was crap ^_^

Kinda annoying that they keep bringing her back though... Tomb raider 4 was OK, but she DIED... So don't keep bringer her back!! At least make a GOOD game...

and as for the model, they've gone completely overboard with proportions. They probally just created a 3D model of a normal woman, then just "shrunk" her waist and "expanded" her butt. got bored. Then played with PsPs. Then threw cups of office coffee around. Then played Tomb raider 2, and wished they could make a good game.

I wouldn't play TR games again, the puzzles always mean i end up cheating to the next level until I end up on the last level getting stuck on all the damn puzzles
