Does anyone still use 800x600 resolution?

Anyone? I'm wondering whether or not to ditch this size resolution and build a new site where you need at least 1024x768 to view it properly. So any one still use this ancient res for browsing websites?

i'm pretty sure very few people use that res from home. but i know from experience that school/college/university/work computers sometimes run on that res, so someone trying to view this website from those locations might well be lumbered with a machine like that. but that's probably in the minority.

I don't, but one of my relatives do. When I changed the res to 1024x768, the entire family got furious with me and made me change it back

i use 1024 x 768 but i think leaving it at 800 x 600 is a better idea. that, or make it a dynamic 100%-of-screen-size width.

i use it on my second mototor on my comptuer because its the ONLY resoltion i can handel and more and less and the h sync goes crazy. but my other monitor is at 1280 x 1024

I go temporarily blind on anything higher than 1024 x 768 @ windows - guess I need glasses . Although I can play games @ 1280x1024

I'm happy with 1280x960. Not too big, not too small. Besides my max resolution on this monitor is 1280x1024.

I used it for CS for a time, but then I realized 1024*768 is better.

I used 800x600 for DX-IW. So I do use it. Though everything else is 1024 +

I used 800*600 about a month ago, but then i got a bigger monitor and felt that i should upgrade my resolution as well. It looks really small when you first try it but I cant imagine myself using 800*600 now.
Even the computers at school use 1024*768 (same as me) but man colleges, unis and schools use 800*600 since its kind of like a noob resolution; its nice to use if you dont use computers much

i clicked yes b/c i thought you mean in games i didn't even read your post, i use 1280x24 for my monitor but i sometimes use 800x640 for certain games like far cry and other games that require a bit more resources then others, i use the default resolution for windows

My mum wants to stop our Broadband Subscription. She says its too expensive....

I use 800x600 in Windows and 1024x768 in games. 1024x768 seems too small on my 17" monitor (I see fine though )... if this site changes to 1024x768 style, then I guess I'll change to it.
