I was listening to some music. After like 3 minutes i yawned. Now it seemed to me that when I yawned the music was going faster (in my mind at least). So my question is , does this happen to you guys, and if it does - why ?

I am aware that this is one of the dumbest threads I could make but I just had to find out.And I didn't feel like getting troll'd on Yahoo Answers.

I think...

it is time you got some sleep. You're about to die.

Music just becomes monotone when I yawn, then it becomes a bit louder afterwards. You've probably got cancer.

A couple of days ago as I worked out, an anouncment said the gym was closing, so I had to hurry up.
I trained with heavy weights and almost no rest between reps and then everything started to sound wired. Like if I held a can against my ear. It was strange I thought.

Everything is complete silence when I yawn, it may have something to do with my sever tinnitus.

That happens because more blood is pumping in your body and expanding blood vessels in your ears. Also, don't hold your breath with reps.

As for the yawning thing, I think you have syphilis.

no, it happens because his tired genes are playing music

Sound doesn't get muted, just a loud ringing drowns out most of it, while the rest is muffled.

and the sound of your eyelid muscles tensing...am i right?

Yeah I don't. But I had to hurry, finish my schedule 30 mins early. They also gave me some free caffine pill at the reception, some new shit that's supposed to make you last longer. Only thing that happend was that I couldn't sleep when I got home.

I have the exact opposite. Stuff goes slower after I yawn.

i've noticed on days where i'm feeling super speedy, most of my songs tend to sound a lot slower than normal, and on days where i'm feeling slow and lethargic, all of my music sounds super energetic and quick.

You have finally uncovered the truth about yourself barbarbarbarbarbarbarbarbarbarbarbarbar.... you have the power to travel forward through time when you yawn.

But remember, use it wisely... And get plenty of sleep, you don't want to Fast forward through time by accident if you get tired.

I know exactly what you're talking about. I never think about it though and it hasn't happened recently. Then sometimes when I yawn I get really lightheaded and my legs feel like they're about to collapse. @_@

I've noticed this as well. On some days the beats of the songs seem slow, but on other days it is fast.
