My god thats still impressive. I dunno, I use the heavy a lot, and try to pair up with the medic whenvever I can, but are there any other tips for using the heavy?

Always watch your/your medics back. If he dies, you're pretty screwed.
Make sure you and your medic know the best times to use the uber. Assess the situation, and determine if you will need it. If you can shoot the turret while it can't shoot YOU, that's not a case to use the Uber.
Don't be afraid to retreat a bit. Living to fight another fight is always better than dying and missing the next 2 fights.
WATCH YOUR AMMO. can't stress that enough.
Don't get greedy. If you notice 2 scouts running one way, and a spy going another, get the spy. You may think that extra point with the other scout is OK, but that Spy will probably be cloaking and coming your way. Your spy bait.

Don't always try to use your minigun... Use you shotgun when you need to stay moving and firing. Ex: Charging a sniper or soldier.
