I'm selling my Voodoo4, works great with UT (no, not UT2004 just UT).
I was playing UT on my PIII 866Mhz, 128RAM, Voodoo4 with all the setting on HIGH and with a 1600x1200 res!!! swear!!! worked perfect! :E

Edit: oh, and I didnt have internet so, no updated drivers for me :P

I've got a 9600 Pro I'm willing to part with. Disclaimer - Original fan has died, but has been replaced.

As for processor/motherboard, check out Fry's Electronics. In their newspaper adds I've seen AMD XP 2400+ and Nforce 2 Ultra motherboard go for $60.

I've been playing CS 1.6 at 100 FPS constant with 2x FSAA under OpenGL with my Voodoo5 5500 PCI... If only Glide games were still made. :p

Your Voodoo4 would acutally run UT2k4 if you tried it. ;)

Really? Was it an Athlon XP 1800+ (11.5x133=1.53GHz) or an Athlon XP 2200+ (13.5x133=1.8GHz). Or even a Pentium 4 1.8GHz (18x100)?
Quite often you have to set the FSB while it automaticly detects the Multiplyer.
Just wondering. ;)

lol. I dont think they can sell you something as a 1.8 ghz and its really 1.15. Thats against the law.

Do your research when buying hardware. It always pays off in the end.
