I'll sum the game up in a quick little review here...
Cross com is useless in any map that isn't during the day (dusk, dawn, and night, you can't see a thing) the drones are useless too (only used them twice so far and I've played almost 10 hours) and the weapons? don't bother trying to find the best combo, give everyone a heavy MG and blitz (the sniper in the squad has uber accuracy no matter the weapon)
The visuals are good, but get boring, in the 360 version you could peak around corners (as in, hug the wall with your back to it and look around) and the explosions were amazing, in this they all look the same and there is no static effect on your screen or any little cool details the 360 version had, also, no 3rd person view so you have to look at your guns in first person which are the color of baby shit. The guns are all the same except the M249-looking HMG and the 1 hit kill sniper rifle, you do have all the little add-ons, but other than the laser dot sight, none of them really make a difference that you can tell.
Now for the story, why are we in Mexico? Why do they have Humvees and Abrahms tanks? Why is every car a Mercedes Benz? And don't expect to understand this anymore as the game progresses, all you hear in your com is your objective and sometimes a news clip that adds nothing to the story. All the maps look about the same, it's either a shitty peblo, or a big town, either way the mission involves going to an objective and blowing something up, OH! and the missions go on FOREVER! Just when you think it's over, there's apparently another massive facility that needs blowing up. All the missions end with a helicopter ride to the next map, which is the most aggrivating point because your ****ing team members are too dumb to take the most direct route to where they need to be, and usually end up running infront of a tank and dry humping it.
Silencers are useless, the enemy always runs right to you unless the mission was designated as stealthy, then they suddenly can't see or hear you. So yeah, this game is worth borrowing from Juarez, but that's about it.
I haven't played MP yet, this is all based on the single-player, so I guess there's still a chance it's good.
