BAAAAAAAAHAHAHA. That was funny. and the original NWN looked like shit.

..I wonder why the first NWN looked bad.. maybe because it was a DOS game? MAYBE ALL GAMES LOOKED LIKE THAT AT THE TIME! ..just a thought :P

Oh, I know that. If just looked horrible compared to the new nwn. I know, of course it would. Its funny to compare.

All games looked like that. The first to games I bought (along with my first PC) were King's Quest V and Ultima VI. The graphics looked awesome for the time (I think it was back in 1991). I also played Space Quest 1 and 2, along with the unreplacable Larry series. Sensible Soccer was the only sport game I ever played. Cute little colored dots running around on the screen, passing a white dot to each other until the "goal" was hit. Then, the pcspeaker would made an insanely highpitched noise causing mass histery in our house. "SCRRRRTTCHHHH", that's how cheering supporters sounded back then.
But the games were so good. I played wolf3D for months. Prince of persia was great too. I remember getting to level 3, and having to swordfight with the skeleton. For the time, the graphics were great. And adlib soundcard was supported! How about the monkey islands and day of the tentacles? Those were awesome stories. And the really old RTS games, like dune, or syndicate. There's also the only flightsim I ever played: F19. When you finished a mission, there was this little dude that would land his aircraft, open the cockpit and show his "thumb-up", while nodding with his eyebrows. Alleycat was one of the first pc games too. There was the first testdrive. And the Indiana Jones series. Lastly, I'll name heroquest, wich had a barbarian that looked like it wore pampers. I've had so much fun with all these games, it all brings back good memories, of friends staying over, playing them all day&night, while abusing alcohol for the first time(s), and eating all sorts of crap.

There's this one game I never saw again: 'Montezuma's revenge'. It was in 4 colors(cga), and was a platform game, where you had to avoid bouncing skulls, and get keys to get past doors so you could proceed to the next level. I've searched and searched for it but never found it back.;(

Man I hate that rapping computer man. Everytime i try to burn a CD he just pops up, he used to be so entusastic, now he's just depressed that he's stuck in a computer singing the same retarded song over and over. Now he just sits in the corner of my desktop and cries.

YEa prince of persia was great! however too many puzzles ;(. I had it on the sega master system.
