Yeah, I killed my power steering pump today doing donuts in the snow. I suggest doing them only if you have rear wheel drive.

Donuts are only worth doing if you have rear wheel drive....
Why were you pissing about with your car on the snow?

i thought you were talking about the food and I was gonna say

donuts are good anywhere

oh well, too bad, you should've eaten some Krispy Kremes instead

Or you should have went to 7-11 and get some donuts

Wow you're a moron. No offense. I hope you didn't put Daddy's money to waste.

The bad thing about rear wheel drive in the snow is it is very hard to get up to speed in a light car. I had to buy 40lb of kitty litter and put them in my trunk to add some extra weight. Although, I have to admit, when there are no cars around and I have a lot of space, I find myself fishtailing for the hell of it.

You know what's fun? Being dragged behind a pickup truck while sitting on the dismantled hood of a Camarro. Yeah, my family is white trash. Thank God I moved halfway across the country.

Huge icestorm in the NE tonight, and I'm off to drive in it in about an hour.

Already on the way home from work I was fishtailing. Gonna drive reeeeeallllly slow.

Nat Turner - shut up, everbody does donuts.

My car is FWD w/ a 230 horse V6, so donuts in reverse are crazy easy.

Disturbed - ricer.

Sounds dangerous. I've done them on a 4 wheeler if that counts, but I'd like to keep my truck intact.

If I had millions to waste on cars as if they were toys, then I would. But you can be irresponsible if you like.

I don't do donuts, and I don't do burnouts. Both are pretty pointless, much like drifting; If you're on asphalt there is absolutely no reason for it.

I went out and was ridding my 4-weeler in the snow it was sweet. All I had to do was lean a little bit and I would do a donut. So If you plan to do it in a car be carfull!

I was thinking the same thing. Don't eat yellow snow; it's bad for ya.

This may be very off topic but I heard that there are these tyres made by Kumho that produce red burnout smoke. Do they sell them? No, they were just for some competition.

I've been drifting/doing donuts in the snow for years now and I've never damaged my car. If you know what you're doing it's fine.

It's really not bad for your car in the snow (I was doing them in the snow), I was just unlucky this time.

I thought this was going to be about how you ruined a perfectly good donut by dropping it in the snow.

lol donuts

Stop trying to be so mature, it doesn't suit you.

Responsibility != maturity

Sorry, but I don't like to slave off dozens of hours of work because I feel like being reckless.

That's odd you saying that, seeing as you posted the thread title as "donuts in the snow = bad"

Diamond star motor...eg the motor thats in eclipses and talons.

RICE

Nat- A power steering pump for my car is $70 and will cost $30 to install (at General Motors employee rates).

Short recoil...argh..it's not goign to stop me from doing them...only for a little while.

Ignorant one you are, you don't even know what DSM's really are.

Oh go tell Shep his car is rice, he only drives the fastest streetable talon in the world, runs 7's in the 1/4 mile kthx!

So what IS a dsm then?

All of the top fuel cars that run 5-6 second quarters are hemi's, granted they arent street legal.

I apologize (not) - I'm a domestic lover. I'd rather have a V8 over a turbo 4 any day.

It's still rice.

Basically a cross platform of cars that use same engine and chassis, Eclipse, Talon and Laser use their own, aswell as 3000gt and Stealth share the same.

The Eclipse, Talon, Laser use the 4G63 motor(same as in Evo's) While the 3000GT's and Stealths use the 6G72. You were half right about it, but also half wrong.

I'm sure you might've seen videos of that black Evo 8 in Florida that got rolled by the Camaro with a 300 shot, well hes back and will 225 more HP, even the supras down there won't do much against him.

http://media.ams-evo8.com/sevo826awhp.wmv

2.3L 4G63>V8 with 300 Shot.

PS. Hes looking for 900awhp with more tuning.

You deserve it. Almost like social Darwinism. :)
