They had never heard of HL2 either. I'm talking about the generic, extremely casual gamers here. The gamers who don't care about anticipating games at all, they just buy what looks good on the shelf. They buy all of the common games that everyone plays, and usually stick to one console, and don't like PC gaming much (I know, it's horrible ) I got both of them excited about HL2 (all I had to do was sit them in front of the E32K3 Binks ) and I didn't even need to tell them much about Doom 3 before they wanted it, since everyone loved the original Doom :cheers:

After an hour of waiting for it to load on 56k I gotta admit that was well worth the long wait! Great trailer, I'm just crying my eyes out that I'll never be able to play it on a detail level such as portraied in the video.

About that official trailer, looks awesome, just feckin awesome, but with the intro I can almost hear the scientist say 'why do we have to wear these ridiculous ties?' it's that much of a rip off from... well a certain game :E

Ya i agree, when i went to watch Spiderman2 they had a trailer for Spiderman2 the game and it honestly looked like a SNES game

Wow this trailer kicks ass!. This game will take me ages to complete...i wont be able to play this game for more than 2 hrs at a time and 1.5 hrs of that time will be waiting growing some balls wanting to edge forward in the game .
